I did things a little backwards as far as wedding planning because I decided that before I chose my bridesmaids I was going to pick a venue and date. I did this because we didn’t know if we were going to have a destination wedding and if so, how many people were going to be able to make it. After coming to the conclusion that we wanted a bigger wedding with more people, I knew exactly who I wanted in my wedding party (although I already had an idea). Being that I have eight bridesmaids, I knew that I wasn’t going to choose gifts that were going to put me too over budget (buying eight of anything can get expensive!). I put together a little gift box that was centered around the theme and inspiration of the wedding. So colors, images, patterns, textures – everything that I envisioned for the day so that my bridesmaids would know what I was planning.
The idea behind the gifts started when I picked up this sweet little floral box from Michaels. Once I saw it I knew it was the perfect size to hold just a few things for them to have. I included a mini sparkling wine bottle (since our venue is at a winery), a blush nail polish color that they could wear on the wedding day if they choose, an inspiration packet with images and ribbons, pink hand sanitizer, chocolates, and a delicate bracelet. I laid all the gifts in light pink tissue paper and covered it with a card asking if they wanted to be my bridesmaid with a special note. I finished off the gift by tying the boxes with a striped bow. For more wedding inspiration, follow my Pinterest board here!
