This weekend we took a quick trip (see vlogs here) to visit Doug’s family and the first thing we did was stop by to see his mom at her winery and our future wedding venue. I’ve only been up there a few times and every time is simply magical. From the rose covered archways, 33 acres of grapevines, rolling green hills, all surrounded by redwood sequoias, every inch of the property has charm. After exploring the grounds, we decided to taste some of her own recommendations for wine and they were seriously amazing! I love refreshing, sweet wines because of how easy they go down and how they always remind me of summertime.

I decided to put together an outfit that was perfectly suited for a day spent in the vineyards. Everything I chose was centered around this crisp off the shoulder white top I picked up last month. I bought this top with a friend and she immediately said that I wouldn’t get any use out of it. Little did she know it became the perfect piece to pull together a girly outfit like this one. I love taking risks and I always feel most comfortable in feminine pieces like this one. When shopping later that day I was even told by a stranger that my top made me look like a princess (not sure if that was a compliment but I’ll take it!). Paired with these striped espadrilles from last year and bold blue skirt, this outfit was perfect for a sun filled day spent with family (soon to be), wine, and beautiful surroundings.
