Dress | Shoes (Less expensive version here!)

Hi Friends! Long time no blog!;) If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been putting up videos Monday through Friday on my channel so my blog has taken a little backseat. I never want to put the same content on both platforms because I personally wouldn’t have a reason to check out someone’s blog if it was just their video and a short blurb, so I try and switch it up when I can! With my frequent posting schedule, I’m going to try and at least share a blog post every weekend with you guys because I do love blogging and taking pictures! Today’s blog post is centered around a most frequently asked question “Where do you buy your dresses!?” I’ve been getting this question a lot because I recently have been going through my wardrobe and selling items on Poshmark so I can refresh my closet! I felt that all my previous items were feeling stale and making me not feel my best so I wanted to finally invest in mainly sandals and dresses as it’s already hot and humid here in Charleston.

Doug and I snapped these photos on Daniel Island last week and I was dying at all the picture perfect houses! One of our friends actually lives in a house similar to this and it’s like stepping into a Pottery Barn magazine. So dreamy! I picked this dress up from Nordstrom as it’s one of my favorite places to shop. Free two day shipping is always a must when online shopping! I rarely ever purchase items in store because returns online are mostly always free wherever I shop. Nordstrom really does have the best quality items that last forever. I used to purchase a ton of clothes from H&M or Forever 21 and those items would either stretch out, shrink to a mini size, or show wear. I like to buy trendier pieces at those more affordable places or TJ Max and items that will last for years at Nordstrom (or Nordstrom Rack), Asos, Zara, Shopbop, and Revolve. I almost always buy on sale though!

Asos has the cutesttttt pieces ever! They are so eye catching and fun. I always get compliments when I wear Asos items because they are unique and out of the norm. I LOVE this dress, this bathing suit, and these shoes! Zara is also a huge favorite. I just placed an order for these items: floral dress, earrings, sandals, and these star wrap sandals.

That’s pretty much every site I use! Although I’ll occasionally check Hautelook and Gilt for a sale;)
