I can’t tell you how relaxing this summer has been. It’s the first summer I’ve been out of college not stressing about classes and it’s the first summer I’ve lived with Doug. Back when I was in college I could have never imagined how my life would be in just a few short years. Engaged, living in LA, and with Doug – all things I could only dream about. It’s funny how life is and it’s insane to think how fast it goes by, which reminds me that although I’m an over planner, it’s helpful to remind myself what’s important and what will be important a few years down the line. Everything comes into perspective when you’ve moved out completely and are on your own. There’s almost a shift in priorities and taking in the simple moments spent with your loved ones like this Sunday afternoon walking along the boardwalk with Doug becomes that much more enjoyable.
