Now that Annabelle is 14 months, keeping her occupied and well fed is always on my mind! If you are a mother then you’ll know, maintaining a happy, fuss-free baby is key to your sanity so ensuring that their needs are met during the day is so important. I started giving Annabelle snacks around the 10 month mark in between lunch and dinner and after her nap so we could have a long stretch until dinner when we all eat together as a family. I also noticed that some days she eats less lunch so on those days, I offer more of a heartier snack to keep her satisfied.
We also have been going on 3-4 playdates throughout the week and every time we go, the other babies had their snacks and Annabelle would grab them! I started to bring my own and she still goes for their snacks, but at least she has her own now! I rounded up a few of our favorite snack ideas so hopefully you’ll get some ideas for your little ones! We love going to Walmart for all her snacks because they carry two of our favorite, organic on the go brands called Annie’s and Cascadian Farm.
Snack Ideas:
- Fruit cup up: Strawberries, Bananas, Clementines, Grapes, and Kiwis are our main go-tos.
- String Cheese
- Cascadian Farms Organic Oats & Honey
- Annie’s Organic Cocoa Bunnies
- Annie’s Organic CinnaBunnies
- Squeeze Pouch (with fruit)
- Raisins
- Squeeze Pouch (with yogurt)
- Fruit Smoothie
- Granola Snack Bar
Those are the easiest snack options for when we have playdates and they held hold her over until her next meal! Are there any snack ideas that you love to feed your little ones? Xx
I love that brand! Did not realize they had all those options to choose from. My son is almost two and snacks for the car rides are a must! Will check them out! Your outfit is super cute, btw.
