Nope, still not done with the pictures from NY;) Continuing on with the rest of our trip from this post, we then checked into our next destination called the Row, NYC. I had heard great things about this newly renovated hotel in the Theater District and I am so happy we ended up staying there. The service was amazing and although the rooms were quite small (like most NY hotel rooms) they were cozy and right in the center of everything with Times Square being only a street away. The next day was filled with touristy attractions. First stopping at the World Trade Center, which was an amazing and moving experience that everyone must see once in their life and then passing through Wall Street towards Park Avenue for some Christmas Shopping. We ended up seeing Chicago on Broadway and it was incredible!
How amazing is Ground Zero….you can’t go there and not shed a tear.
The next day was our last and we spent it visiting Rockefeller Center and trying the best pastries from an Artisan Boulanger called Maison Kayser on 3rd. Seriously, the best caramel chocolate bread ever!
So happy the cold made its way towards the end of our trip because my wardrobe is definitely not fit for a city like this! (Hence the lightweight button down in this pic..tee-hee)
Arriving in California after such a long trip was much needed. While New York was an amazing place to visit, nothing beats the warm Cali sun in the dead of “winter” and the sandy beaches. Glad to be home! For more pictures of our trip, follow me on Instagram here!
