I don’t know what it is, but I can’t seem to get away from plaid this season (see past looks here, here, & here)! There’s something about this pattern that always catches my eye and seems to find its way into my closet. This plaid flannel mini skirt from Madewell was perfect for a wintery day of shopping with a few friends. To tone down the plaid print, I added an all black button down and booties for a more casual style. I only had a few minutes to snap these pictures, that’s why there aren’t as many as usual! For some crazy reason it decided to rain in Southern California this weekend and we had to run outside in between dry spells! I absolutely love the rain and have been waiting for El Niño to hit for months! There’s something so peaceful about wintery weather that we barely get to experience down here:)
