I am so excited about today’s post because it includes probably one of my favorite dresses I’ve worn on Daily Dose of Darling. Surprisingly, this dress was a little out of my comfort zone. Although it’s as feminine as ever with the flutter sleeves and above the knee length, the bold stripes were something I wasn’t used to in a dress. I decided to take the chance and pair it with minimal accessories and strappy ankle heels so as to not take away from the bold pattern. After discovering Topshop a few years ago, I’ve completely fallen in love with almost all of their pieces (how cute is this floral frill dress or this crochet shift dress!?). Feeding my love for the 90’s era, each one of their pieces adds an element of edginess and flare unlike many designers. The flutter sleeves on this cocktail dress were definitely the selling point for me as they highlight the collarbone and add a girly element.
