February is a busy month. Apart from Valentine’s Day and the usual madness that goes along with that, Doug and I both have birthdays. For his birthday we spent a day in one of our favorite cities along the coast, La Jolla. First we ate at the most amazing little Mexican restaurant that we continue to go back to because of their to-die-for tacos and then we walked along the coast and soaked up the sun. The one thing I love most about this city is the laid back atmosphere. I’ve grown up going to Newport, Corona Del Mar, and Huntington Beaches, but there’s something about La Jolla that really puts you at ease. There’s so much to see. This affluent community just fifteen minutes from downtown San Diego hosts a multitude of picturesque little boutiques, art galleries, mansions on each cliff overlooking the ocean and top notch restaurants. Getting lost here is really like a dream. Happy 23rd Birthday to the love of my life!! xoxo
