It’s now officially two weeks until Doug and I move into our new apartment and we couldn’t be more excited!! We’ve been wanting to live together for years, but just knew that the timing had to be right. With that being said, it’s still pretty difficult going through the whole moving process in general…especially when your moving to LA. We went apartment hunting several times and let me tell you, finding an apartment in LA is…interesting. We both know absolutely nothing about Los Angeles. I’ve grown up around the Orange County area since I was born and Doug’s from Nor Cal, so maneuvering our way in and out of all the different cities and neighborhoods in LA was a challenge to say the least. We don’t have too many friends out there and the ones that we do have don’t live near Doug will be working. So, we kind of had to figure out where we wanted to find a place ourselves. After looking at several apartments, we realized that the idea of needing space had to quickly leave our minds. That’s why when it comes to decorating our first place, everything has to be specifically chosen to fit in a smaller area. Here’s some apartment inspiration I’ve found that will make the little space we have, that much more special.
