As important an LBD is to a girl’s wardrobe, a little white dress in my opinion is just as much of a staple. I find myself wearing white dresses all throughout the year. Whether it’s underneath a button down or paired with booties in the spring, white goes well with everything and adds a freshness to every outfit. I picked up this white two piece set a while ago from a new brand called Want and Need and loved the scalloped lace hem. I usually shy away from cut outs and things that show my midriff, but in this case a little skin shown in the mid area adds a flirtiness to the outfit’s polished and put together look. I felt like the outfit needed a pop of color so I added a pale pink cardigan (my fav color!) and a some simple nude heels to complete the look.

After shooting this outfit, Doug and I spent the entire day planning our future honeymoon trip! We’ve decided to go to Japan for a bunch of different reasons. We knew we didn’t want an ordinary honeymoon laying on the beach (we are more of the explorer type) and Doug has already been to Japan since he’s part Japanese so he’s dying to learn more about his culture and test out his Japanese language skills;) I’m so ready to do something out of the ordinary and we’re both counting down the months to our wedding (4 to be exact)!
