Polka Dotted Dress | Heels | Uber Clutch c/o Gigi New York | Flutter Monogram Necklace c/o Swell Caroline | Rings c/o Mercy Maman
I have been living in loose dresses ever since I hit my second trimester. I’m currently 21 weeks along and all of my clothes have decided not to fit me so I’ve resorted to throwing on more comfortable pieces to carry me through the rest of my pregnancy. So far I’ve only purchased one maternity specific item and that was these leggings that go over my belly and oh man they are the comfiest things ever! I’ll definitely be wearing them all throughout fall and winter and for sure postpartum. Other than pants/shorts, I don’t feel like I need to be buying a ton of maternity items so instead I just buy more loose fitting dresses and tops. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but maternity clothing isn’t always the trendiest so I’m holding out for as long as I can by sizing up!
I picked up this structureless long sleeve dress from Zara and it’s the easiest piece to throw on and still feel put together and ladylike. For a while I was just wearing workout shorts and tops out and about when my clothes started to not fit and that doesn’t make you feel cute at all! Dresses instantly pick up my mood and make me feel more confident and more myself. Sometimes that’s all you crave while being pregnant…to feel like yourself when your body is constantly changing! Lately I’ve had my eye on this fall inspired boho dress, this shift dress, this floral print wrap dress, and this cross front dress all perfect for transitioning to fall.
P.S. I did a review and demo of the foundation I’m wearing in these pictures over on my Youtube channel if you want to check it out here!
