After starting my new job I knew I had to invest in some casual work clothes. Since I work right off the Manhattan Beach Pier, the work attire is ultra casual, as in shorts are encouraged. I’m still getting used to the laid back vibe that the beach cities of LA have to offer and slowly adjusting with more casual work pieces that can transition from work to a night out. I always find the best bargains at Banana Republic this time of year and just a hint, the sales associate told me they actually have their biggest sales AFTER Labor Day! Who would have thought!? I walked out with so many sophisticated pieces that I knew would last me year after year. I went out on a limb with these black and white textured jogger style pants and toned down the print with an all black shirt with a delicate crochet overlay. I love their pieces because almost everything’s double lined and always becomes timeless staple pieces in my wardrobe.
